Est. Maggie's Gurls Foundation
Sorry not sorry,
Live openly.
Live safely.
Unapologetically.
We work inside the LGBTQIA+ community on suicide awareness, education, literacy, housing and community resources, advocacy and empowerment. Drag is how we bring joy, approachability, and self-expression to work that saves lives.

Why we exist
Everyone deserves a reason to stay
Too many LGBTQIA+ people are told, quietly or loudly, that there is no room for them. Maggie's Gurls exists to change that perspective, one person at a time, with resources, education, safe environments, and an unmistakable message: you are wanted here.
Pull up a stool
Who Maggie's Gurls helps
Queer youth in crisis
Young people facing rejection, bullying, or suicidal thoughts who need someone in their corner tonight.
Adults without a safe home
People pushed out by family or landlords who need housing, referrals, and a community that answers.
Anyone still finding themselves
It's okay if you're not ready yet. We hold space for coming out on your own timeline.

Meet Maggie
A wig, a mirror, and a decision to keep going
Maggie's Gurls started with one person who knew what it felt like to run out of reasons and found another one anyway. Drag became the doorway: a way to walk into a room, disarm it with joy, and then have the conversation nobody else was having about suicide, isolation, and worth.
Today that work is a foundation. Same message, bigger stage.

Maggie's House
A door that opens when the others close
Maggie's House is a $3.4 million initiative with commercial real estate developers to build 10 townhomes as a dedicated sanctuary and safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, especially at-risk youth. A physical home for people who have never had one, plus the wraparound referrals that help someone rebuild: identification, healthcare, work, and people who know their name.

Sorry Not Sorry
Taking the message on the road
Sorry Not Sorry is our national campaign and travelling awareness project: performances, storytelling, and straight talk about suicide prevention, delivered somewhere people can actually hear it. Libraries, chambers, pride festivals, and small towns that rarely get a visit.
Four drag performers roll in aboard a classic 1959 Cadillac DeVille, our pink reach vehicle, carrying supplies, resources, and a little drag-fueled joy. We are currently fundraising to get her road-ready and keep the outreach rolling.
